Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
